In the Study Chamber underneath the Visored warehouse, a masked Hiyori Sarugaki repeatedly slashes at Ichigo Kurosaki, who has donned his own Hollow mask and blocks her attacks with his Shikai, Zangetsu, prior to Hiyori engaging him in a blade lock and infusing her Zanpakutō with Reiatsu to send Ichigo flying back with a powerful blast. Skidding along the ground, Ichigo recovers just in time to block a flying kick from Hiyori with his arm.
