In the Seireitei, 6th Division Lieutenant Renji Abarai grabs Ichigo Kurosaki by the collar. Telling Ichigo to watch his mouth, Renji states this kind of talk will get Ichigo in trouble around here, prompting 8th Division Captain Shunsui Kyōraku to tell Renji to take a deep breath.
Turning to Shunsui, Renji apologizes and says he finds 6th Division Captain Byakuya Kuchiki betraying them to be inconceivable. When Renji states there must be a plausible reason for Byakuya's actions, Ichigo says he does not know what Byakuya's reasoning is and reveals Byakuya is working with his Zanpakutō Spirit, Senbonzakura.
