In Karakura Town, dozens of people curiously inspect a crop circle that has been left in the grass of a local park. When Karin Kurosaki declares that this is pointless and leaves while carrying her soccer ball, her sister Yuzu Kurosaki chases after her in protest.

Walking down the steps to the street with her sister, Yuzu observes that there have been many incidents like this lately with people seeing UFOs and poltergeists in their cities. In response, Karin concludes that it is likely due to "them" as she looks up, only for Yuzu to question what she is looking at.
