When Harutoki asks him if he wants the parakeet, Gitano refuses to take it after hearing about the bad luck it brings to those around it. Gitano suggests that Harutoki simply abandon the parakeet somewhere, but Harutoki abjectly refuses to do such a cruel thing and offers the parakeet to Sado while reminding him that it is cute.
