Smirking at this, Kariya uses Wind Licht Schneide to unleash two intersecting diagonal blades of wind at Ichigo and Byakuya, prompting Ichigo to fire a Getsuga Tenshō at it with his Bankai, Tensa Zangetsu, while Byakuya's Bankai, Senbonzakura Kageyoshi, surges forward in turn.
