Kaidou's Bolo Breath destroys Oden's castle, leaving the witnesses in shock, including Luffy, Hawkins and Jack. In anger, Luffy chases after Kaidou, who unleashes a drunken rampage on Okobore Town.

He jumps into the sky and uses his Elephant Gun move to strike Kaidou in the head, causing him to fall to the ground. Kin'emon and Kiku, having survived Kaidou's attack, get up.

To Kin'emon's shock, however, he finds a smoldering gap where Oden Castle was. He goes to the town in case Kaidou wakes up and rampages again, while Kiku goes to the mountain to find Momonosuke and the other Straw Hats.
